I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. I use mixed and qualitative research methods to illuminate how Black leaders and educators create affirming learning environments for Black students. I earned my Ph.D. in English (Literacy) Education and Education Leadership and Policy from Columbia University as a Provost Doctoral Fellow.
